Paw Tracker App Functions

Real Time Tracking

Real Time Tracking is the primary feature used for tracking the Paw Tracker.

It is the most efficient and accurate way to track your pet, because you may adjust the time interval for real time tracking. The time interval for uploading location can be increased or decreased according to your personal usage.

In the app under 'Settings' and then in 'Interval for uploading GPS location' you may adjust the ping time for the device to upload GPS coordinates.

(We recommend using the 1 hour interval) This will significantly increase battery life until needing to be charged again.

*Make sure you have received a current GPS location in the Real Time Tracking feature before using the Geo-Fence or Historical Route features.  You can determine that your device is working by looking at the white box just above the V30-00967 icon located on the map shown above. Make sure the timestamp is current and the location says GPS Online.*

Geo-Fence

Click on the GeoFence Icon on the main screen.

Click the Plus sign in the top right corner.

Click the Name Box and give the Geo-Fence a Name.

Then, click the Radius Box on the number to adjust the radius and size of the Geo-Fence.

Adjust the Radius by the Scroll Bar shown in arrow 1.  Move the map with your finger to change the location.

iPhone: Click Save icon the top right corner to save (iPhone first image).

Android: Click the "OK" Button bottom right to save (Android second image).

This feature allows you to see all GPS locations for a given 24 hour period. You will have to make sure the Device Timezone and the App Timezone are set to the same Timezone.
